Our firm is built on the foundation and tradition of more than 100 years of family business. We trace our roots to 1612 when the first Brinkerhoff came to New Amsterdam. In the early 1900s, Zach Brinkerhoff, Sr. moved the family to a plantation in Shreveport, LA called Last Chance. It was there, in 1912, that the Texas Company made an oil discovery. That discovery led to the family's entry into the oil & gas business, and subsequent success of The Brinkerhoff Drilling Company which propelled us into our various businesses today.
